Just a reminder as we get started with our new week of opportunities!
The West Noble Middle School music department will have two shows this week:
TONIGHT (MONDAY) at 7 p.m. - The Fall Band Concert
THURSDAY at 7 p.m. - The Fall Choir Concert
West Noble competed in the Scholastic B division and scored a Silver Rating, but wasn't able to qualify for further advancement in the state series, ending its fall competition season.
The Lightning Brigade will have one more performance this fall, set to perform this Friday at the West Noble home football game. Let's make sure we recognize these hardworking musicians one more time this fall!
Special thanks to Moorea Douglas for providing photos from The Rockpile in Plymouth at Saturday's performance.

We had a few chapters come to an end this week, but a lot of doors open as West Noble schools work into the middle of October. Ligonier and Sparta Fire both visited West Noble Elementary, Applied Skills visited Ultrazone, sports continued sporting and nature continued to be beautiful.
It's a great day to be a Charger!

It was a very good draw for West Noble football on Sunday night for the IHSAA football sectional tournament.
West Noble (6-2) drew Fort Wayne Concordia (1-7) in a home game in the first round of the Class 3-A Sectional 26 bracket, set to begin on Oct. 24. A West Noble win would have the Chargers either home against Angola in the semi-finals, or on the road at Tippecanoe Valley depending on which team wins between the Hornets or Vikings.
The sectional championship is set for Nov. 7, and could host depending on the opponent from the north half of the bracket.
The Chargers close out the regular season this Friday, Oct. 17, hosting Prairie Heights on Senior Night.

A 34-7 win over Lakeland Friday night on Charger Hill vaulted West Noble to the top of the standings alone at 4-0 in the division. West Noble last won the conference in 2023 and had already clinched at least a share of the crown coming into the night.
The Chargers had two rushing touchdowns from Xymire Barnes-Bridges, a single rushing score each from Trey Shisler and Xavier Yates, and a passing touchdown from Shisler to Brayden Limerick.
West Noble moves to 6-1 on the season with a road game next week at Busco before finishing up the regular season in two weeks at home against Prairie Heights.
How about a few more pics from last night's Jr. NECC Cross Country Championships? Big THANKS to West Noble head coach Rudy Troxel and his crew for providing the extra energy in photos this morning! Congrats, coach, for your work and payoff this season!

The West Noble Middle School girls cross country team won the Jr. NECC team title this evening, hosting the conference championships. The Lady Chargers scored just 34 points to stay well clear of runner-up Westview (59) and Churubusco (60). Leading the way was champion Ashley Belmares, who cruised to an individual title at 11:41.60, a full 17 seconds ahead of the field.
Margarita Marin was fourth (12:09), Karlie Stabler seventh (12:29), Nora Baker 10th (13:02) and Ava Bloss 12th (13:04) to comprise the scoring individuals for West Noble.
The boys team finished third, Victor Blanco the first Charger in placing fifth at 10:49. Westview won the boys title with a scant 22 points, ahead of Angola (56) and West Noble (78).
Congrats to our junior runners, setting the tone for the future!

Yeah, we've got you covered!
