Just a reminder, stop by BZ this Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon to test drive a Ford. It's free to take a Mustang or F-150 or a new Bronco out for a spin, and if you do, BZ will donate $30 per car driven as part of the Drive 4 Ur Community event. If you see a West Noble student in the community with one of these tickets, bring it to BZ so they know you're there for the event!
A milestone was reached this morning at Turning Point, as Ivan Ibarra fulfilled his requirements and is now a West Noble High School graduate!
Ibarra has traveled a long road to get his diploma, but is very pleased with his accomplishment, and is looking forward to joining the workforce to build his foundation.
We salute Ibarra on his persistence, and wish him the best in his future!

A tour at RSG Sire Center, a stop and treat at Donaldson's Fine Chocolate, and finished the afternoon watching races at Indianapolis Horseshoe. More to come as they continue with one of the biggest FFA events in the country!

It's all Greek to me!
West Noble's second graders celebrated the end of their unit on Ancient Greece with a trip to Mount Olympia (Charger Hill) to compete in Olympic-style games. Sprint races, javelin tossing and discus were all on the sport docket for the kids, who entered the arena with their representative flags and team headbands.

Charger Woods will offer a spooktacular time this weekend as the West Noble Charger Haunted Trail is set again for this year. Dress up and prepare for a hauntingly good time this Saturday!

A bittersweet day for West Noble cross country, but ultimately, a good day.
The team season ended for both the boys and girls teams, the girls finishing 12th and the boys 14th in the team standings at Saturday's New Haven Regional.
However, among those results, sophomore Graysen Ruch qualified for the IHSAA State Finals by finishing 16th overall with a time of 16:20, landing among the top 15 runners not from a qualifying team.
The Lady Chargers had a near miss for a state finalist as freshman Karla Dominguez placed 37th overall with a time of 19:39, but was 16th in the individual standings for the non-team qualifiers, unfortunately coming in behind a trio of runners that got her at the line by less than a second. That puts Dominguez in the awkward holding pattern of hoping to get a callback from the state if someone can't make it to next weekend.
So in the interim, salute to Ruch and his qualification for the IHSAA State Finals, see what you can do on the famed LaVern Gibson course next weekend!!!

An incredibly fun start to the morning with our Little Chargers at West Noble Primary!
WNP held its Halloween Parade this morning, starting with a tour of the halls at the Primary, with pathways full of parents cheering on our students, nearly every single student fully draped in costume (even an inflatable Pikachu). The parade then continued to West Noble High School, where the big kids passed out candy and offered support for the little ones. Mrs. Kimmel's classroom was in full spook mode as one of the major highlights.
The Little Chargers then loaded the busses to hit the streets of Ligonier, stopping at several area businesses where the hosts were ready with candy and smiles as our kids passed through.
A big thanks to everyone who were involved today to make this a special day for the Little Chargers. Their smiles and joy really made the parade worthwhile :)

West Noble FFA has had a busy start to the school year. Earlier this October, junior high FFA members competed at the state Livestock Skillathon contest. Members of the team consisted of Easton Kootnz, Levi Wechter and Braxton Koontz. The team was 33rd out of 84.
The FFA also has been doing community service, and one of their projects was highway cleanup on US 33 near the West Noble campus. FFA advisor Khara Kimmel reported the group was able to pick up over 10 bags of trash to help keep our area clean and respectable.
Well done West Noble FFA!
