It's summer, and we have a pond at West Noble, so why not enjoy it? Some of the summer school students at West Noble Elementary joined Mrs. Lemler, Mrs. DeLong and Mrs. Ward for a little fishing expedition. As part of their ecology unit, the kids learned how to bait their hooks, cast into the pond, and what to do if they got a bite on the hook. As you can see from the photos, several of the kids figured it out in varying forms of celebration! We enjoy the outdoors at West Noble and love to experience nature in so many forms!
A reminder, if your daughter hasn't been signed up for the West Noble girls basketball camp, space is still available! Come learn under new head coach Steve Wiktorowski and his staff and players!

Charger Nation, we're calling out to you!
We are looking for help in collecting photos and information for a new project we are working on at West Noble High School. Our request to you is simple:
We would like to know if you or someone you know were a college athlete, and if so, where did you attend, what sport, and how many years were you on the squad. While we know there are professional bowlers, fishermen, BMX riders, etc., we'd like to keep it to the 18 varsity sports offered at West Noble High School.
We are also looking to gather up a list of our West Noble High School graduates who served in the military. Specifically, we are searching for branch, years served, and rank.
If you have information, please reach out to WNHS athletic director Tom Schermerhorn at schermerhornto@westnoble.k12.in.us or (260) 894-3191 ext. 3055.

West Noble Middle School too it’s annual trip to Indiana Beach for the 72 Charger Character Award Winners plus a friend of their choice! They spent the day Tuesday enjoying the park, including lots of rollercoasters, lounging in the lazy river, and junk food.
A great way to reward being good people! Well deserved for all who made the trip, even if the water was a little cold!

Now that the dust has settled from Sunday's West Noble graduation, we'd like to share an additional resource!
On our new West Noble K-12 website on the high school page, we have added a 'WNHS Graduation' page which will have the materials from our graduation ceremony including video links to our livestream and slideshow as well as a gift to you all - a FREE photo gallery you can pull from if you want photos as a keepsake!
While you're on the site, take a spin around and see all the great things going on at our West Noble schools. We'll be updating and adding this summer and into the fall, so stop by and take a look around. We're a great place to learn and grow!

West Noble's boys golf season came to a conclusion Friday afternoon at the Northridge Boys Golf Sectional. As one of the first teams off the tee as the drizzle fell at Meadow Valley Golf Club, West Noble improved 13 strokes from its last 18-hole match at the NECCs, but couldn't keep pace with the field. Shooting a 392, West Noble was well off the top-three qualifying pace as it's season wrapped up.
Leading the way for the Chargers was senior Isaac Mast, who shot a round of 88 to close out his final match in the red, white and blue. Next up was Nolan Kelly with a 94, following by Tristen Reed at 104 and Gavin Keene at 106. Blake Ewell had the fifth-man score at 107.
Can't make it to Sunday's graduation ceremony? If not, we will have it livestreamed on our West Noble YouTube channel.

Now is the time to have your best 18-hole match of your season. Hit 'em long and straight, Charger golfers!
Good luck at Meadow Valley!

West Noble's shot at ending a 19-year sectional title drought was dangled in front of them all game, but the Chargers couldn't catch the proverbial carrot in an 8-3 loss to NorthWood in the championship game of the NorthWood Baseball Sectional Monday night.
Five of NorthWood's first six runs were scored with two outs, including a key two-run single in the first and another huge two-out single in the fourth to double the Panther lead to 6-3. After falling behind 4-0, West Noble stormed back to trail just 4-3 in the fourth, a Cam Eash single and a NorthWood error allowed two more runs to score.
But that was all the offense West Noble would generate against NorthWood pitcher Connor Reed, who allowed just one hit and struck out 12 to send the Panthers to its 14th sectional title and a date in the regional against defending 3-A state champion New Prairie.
West Noble concludes its season 11-16 overall.
We had some breaking news over the weekend from the West Noble athletic department.
