The Volley For Venturi event will take place at West Noble High School starting at 5 p.m. this evening! Food, silent auction, lots of volleyball and lots of fun - ALL FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
Come join the volleyball program this evening!

Kind of a light week of stuff going on as students and staff are now settled into some workable routines.
Among the lot this week includes some home and road volleyball peeks, a couple more sights from the Schlemmer, a very little Charger learning that sharing is caring, and the HS applied skills students learning science through slime.

A fantastic morning of cross country at West Noble with the 2025 Chuck Schlemmer Memorial Invite. West Noble's high school boys team finished second and the high school girls team were fourth with a pair of top-five individual finishes among them at the mega invite. Both of the West Noble middle school teams also had positive results.
Full results from the invite can be found at the link below:

Trey Shisler had a pair of passing touchdowns, Brogan Parks ran in a pair and Dustin Richardson had one of the wildest unintended double reverse touchdowns you'll see this year.
The Chargers move to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in the NECC Big School Division with a game next Friday at Garrett. Revenge is on the mind...
Meadow Valley marked the end of the road Friday for the West Noble girls golf team.
The Lady Chargers sent out its four to complete at the Northridge Girls Golf Sectional, but did not qualify any of its compliment to the regional round. The team shot a 480 to finish seventh in the 9-team field. Top score from West Noble was a 108 from Lilyen Lindsay, who missed qualifying for the regional by two spots. Lone senior Lacy Leamon shot a 113 in her final high school round, and Neveah Gantt (128) and Konstence Hoover (131) rounded out the West Noble scores.
Top score on Friday was from Northridge, repeating as sectional champions with a 333, followed by Fort Wayne Carroll at 349 and East Noble at 395, all qualifying for the regional round. Tournament medalist was Northridge's Alex Reschly at 72. Fairfield's Mallory McGowen and Bella Blosser, as well as Concord's Ella Carlisle all move on as individuals.

Another notable athletic accomplishment took place Tuesday night in Ligonier.
West Noble volleyball has started passing milestones this season, and the latest one was breaking a seven-year drought against NorthWood, beating the Panthers 3-1 at home.
The result broke a reign by NorthWood that extended back to Oct. 13, 2018, when West Noble last beat the Panthers in the semi-finals of the Tippecanoe Valley Volleyball Sectional. That was the last season West Noble won a sectional, the Chargers beating the hosts later that tournament for the title.
West Noble, which currently sits No. 3 in the MaxPreps Class 3-A rankings, moves to 14-1 overall this season, and remarkably have only given up five sets all season.
Another job well done, Lady Chargers!

Shout out to our bus drivers who spent two days with our Primary kids, and had as much fun teaching as the kids did learning!
Special thanks to Jen Flora for the photos!

BEHOLD!
If those two meal options aren't enough to get you in the door to support a good cause and see some top flight volleyball in the process, at least buy a shirt and find another way to get involved.
Food starts at 5, volleyball starts at 6, our support for the Venturi's doesn't end!

The Brigade were part of the Festival Class, a two-school group joined by Fort Wayne Dwenger. The class was not publicly scored; this being West Noble's first competition of the fall.
In all, 24 schools competed at the Invite in six categories: Festival, Scholastic, and Class A, B, C & D.
The Lightning Brigade competes again this weekend at the DeKalb Invite.
Special thanks to Leia Noll for the pics from Goshen!
The storytellers of the past did a wonderful job integrating the kids into the ways of life in the 1800s, from ironworking to handcrafting jewelry, firing muskets and bows and arrows, and all the excitement that has made the Pioneer Festival a staple in the community.
Thank you to the festival for hosting our kids, and for the wonderful job in putting on the festival.
Congrats to our latest class of NHS members!
Special thank you to WNHS senior Victoria Servin for providing photos from the ceremony.
