Riegsecker finishes her freshman season with an 18-3 record!
Great job Natalia!

Meanwhile, back at WNP, kindergarten students wrapped up their knowledge unit on presidents. While the first graders visited the Big House, the kindergarteners replicated the White House, sharing what they learned with their classmates in other rooms, and the students made a puppet of a president and wrote a fact about that president.
Very presidential!

West Noble Primary checked in Tuesday with an all-points bulletin from the Ligonier Police Department. Students went there to learn about how the police do their job, what tools they use and how they learn. Maybe now, finally, Officer Moser will get some respect in the WNP hallways!

The Potawatomi Zoo hosted West Noble Middle School's EL students Tuesday. Time away from the classroom, the group got to see the entirety of the displays, and also some hands-on exhibits like turtles and wild birds.

It worked so well for the first group, there was a guaranteed success rate for the second group!
West Noble Primary sent a group of students to the Bison Ranch in Wolcottville last week, and Tuesday, sent first graders to the ranch and park to experience the joys of the wilderness. Photos do all the talking here!

NorthWood, which scored in every inning but the fifth, opened with a nine-run first inning and never looked back. The Panthers will meet Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday evening while Columbia City, which held on to beat Wawasee, 5-4, in game two, will meet host Fairfield in Tuesday's second game.

Parade is set to begin around 12:15 on Main Street by Ligonier Public Library.

West Noble's first foray into the Unified Track and Field state tournament happened Saturday at Fort Wayne North Side, and the Chargers finished a respectable seventh overall with 69 team points. Needing to be one of the top three teams in the points standings to qualify for the regional round, the season is over for the program, but not without notable finishes at North Side.
Dominic Miller was first in his heat in two events, in the 400 dash (1:14.91) and the long jump (8-7). Lilyen Lyndsay was also first in her heat of the shot put, sending the pill 21-5. Alyssa Martinez was second in her heat of the shot (7-7) and Diego Quezada was second in his mixed 100 dash heat (17.84).
Homestead won the sectional title, and will be joined at the NorthWood Regional by Columbia City and Norwell.
Outstanding work this season, the West Noble community is very proud of our Unified team!
