Let's go Chargers!

West Noble and Eastside battled Wednesday evening at Parkview Field as part of the PSM Baseball Classic. Eastside took advantage of a couple West Noble fielding miscues, and held the Chargers to five hits in a 5-0 win, but the experience at beautiful Parkview Field offered a bittersweet parting gift.
Junior Achievement's staff kept the students on a strict schedule with preset tasks, and allowed them to 'earn money' to purchase 'goods' within BizTown at the various business spaces.
A huge THANK YOU to the staff at Junior Achievement and all of our West Noble volunteers for taking on our fifth grade classes and showing a great amount of patience as the kids learned what it's like in the real world!
Kudos to our staff in these improvements as we continue to create an environment at West Noble as a great place to learn and grow!

Layne Targgart, Giselle Lopez, Emily Chiddister and Donald Baker were joined by Ligonier Rotary Club President Margarita White at Tuesday evening's West Noble School Board Meeting in recognition of the student's leadership trajectory.
Take a read on what RYLA is doing for the students, and what a couple of them think of the new opportunity to hone their leadership skills.

Let's go Lady Chargers!

The facility, located behind West Noble High School adjacent to the football parking lot, will be open 3:30-5 p.m. daily until all the plants are gone. There's a big variety of items to peruse, from hanging baskets to impatients, daisies to salvia, and a host of different types of herbs, mints and vegetables.
Come on out and spruce up your landscape or kitchen table, and help our FFA program in the process!

West Noble's track teams claimed a pair of individual champions at Friday night's NECC Championships at Angola.

Kayle Jordan set the pace in the shot put, sending the winning toss 40-5 to claim championship honors.
The girls added several runner-up finishes at the meet, a pair from Gimena Aguilar in the 100 dash (12.75) and 200 dash (26.90). Lanie Martin was second in the mile (5:26.79) and Trinity Parson was also second in the two-mile (11:57.24). Xymire Barnes-Bridges added a runner-up post in the boys long jump (20-9.5).

Thank you teachers!

After having to reschedule due to a town-wide power outage last week, the first graders at West Noble Primary got their first grade graduation in earlier this evening. A handful of songs included 'Months of the Year' and 'This Little Light of Mine' sung via candlelight under a cloak of darkness. The final song of the night was a localized remix of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin' with a West Noble Primary special touch.
Each of the eight classes were able to be announced as they walked across the stage, everyone posing for a moment with their teacher in both the early and late sessions.
Congrats to our first graders as they start their prep to the elementary next year!
We salute Samuel Hicks, Christian Perez Morales, Bella Barnes, Abril Segovia and Daniel Hager on their decisions in moving to the next level of their career paths.

We thank our nurses for all of their care, patience and willingness to do some of the true dirty work in our schools!
Thank you!
