The Volley For Venturi fundraiser event is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 22, beginning at 5 p.m. at West Noble High School. While there are a couple days between now and Monday, you can get a jump on planning on bidding for some really cool items in the silent auction.
All the proceeds from the event - which also includes a bake sale and a BBQ dinner - go to the Venturi family as they continue to navigate expenses from a car accident involving 2025 WNHS graduate Silvia Venturi.
The auction is limited to in-person bids, and can be paid with cash, check or card. Organizers are planning for the silent auction to end at some point during the varsity volleyball contest. JV play begins at 5:30 p.m. against DeKalb, with the varsity to follow.
