West Noble High School brought its student body together Friday to celebrate the newest class of students chosen for National Honor Society.
The current members of NHS performed the 'tapping' ceremony, finding the new members and tapping them on the shoulder, symbolizing them being welcomed to the club. A pinning ceremony will take place next Wednesday, Sept. 3, at West Noble High School to formally complete the induction.
A total of 24 students were named to the new membership status, including:
Donald Baker, Riley Barth, Isabella Beers, Allison Bloss, Dylan DeLuna, Reagan Eash, Mya Emmert, Blake Ewell, Mia Gonzalez, Emily Halsey, Jennifer Herrera, Aubrey Hilbish, Yamilet Macias, Marley Mast, Daniela Orozco, Caleb Peterson, Darcy Ritchie, Dylan Romero, Marly Schrock, Yurida Silva, Dylan Silva, Madilyn Sitts, Lilly Stout and Jay Wu.
