Welcome to West Noble Middle School! We look forward to having you with us for the 2026-27 school year. We believe that middle school should be a time to meet new friends and teachers, explore new classes and interests and try new sports and clubs. 

This year our academic goals are focused on improving our math and English/Language Arts ILEARN scores by using classroom assessment and ILEARN Checkpoint data to guide instruction and intervention and enrichment opportunities. We will have more information to share about these goals during parent-teacher conferences at the end of September. 

In addition to our challenging and interactive classrooms, our students also enjoy activities such as semester attendance rewards, special ILEARN week activities, and the Spring Fling. We also offer a wide range of music classes, sports and after-school clubs. We are excited to continue programs such as the Charger Reading Challenge, 5th Grade YMCA Swim Lessons, and student recognition programs such as the Charger Character Awards, the NJHS Induction Ceremony, Privilege Program and Athletic Awards. We will also send all 6th grade students on a college tour in the fall, 7th graders will attend Junior Achievement’s Finance Park and 8th graders will attend Junior Achievement’s JobSpark as their culminating activities for completing the JA personal finance and career exploration curricula. 

Our students help us to make WNMS the best it can be, and we continue to listen to their suggestions for improvements to our school. Our students credit our staff as being the best thing about the middle school. We are here to help you and can’t wait for you to join us! 

Opening Day Information 

● Back to School Night (open house) - Monday, Aug 10th 5:30-7:30 PM 

● First Student Day - Thursday, Aug 13th 

● School begins at 8:25 AM 

● School ends at 3:20 PM 

● Student schedules can be picked up at Back to School Night or viewed on Skyward the first week of August.
