west noble students with bpa awards

West Noble is excited once again to be sending representation to the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference.

The BPA program from West Noble High School is sending three two competing individuals in Allison Stabler and Jay Wu, as well as Jacky Silva as a voting delegate.

Stabler, just a freshman, qualified for nationals in Graphic Design Promotion after finishing second in the state level competitions in Indianapolis earlier this month. Wu, a junior, also qualified for nationals with his fourth-place finish in the Banking & Finance category.

Silva will be attending nationals as a voting delegate, an honor she receives since she served as the BPA Region 2 President for the 2025-26 school year.

The BPA National Leadership Conference, set for May 6-10 in Nashville, Tennessee, will have Stabler and Wu competing against the best and brightest from around the country. This follows up a year ago, where West Noble sent Xavier Viera to Orlando to compete in four finance categories, two of those ending up top 15 in the country.

“We are very proud of all our students this year,” said West Noble High School BPA advisor Teri Kruger, who oversees the group along with Steven Murillo. “We took 26 to the State Leadership Conference. It is always exciting if even one student makes it on stage because the competition is tough at this level, but two students being recognized onstage - one of them twice - and having four other events having a top-10 placement is awesome!”

Murillo will be traveling with the students to Nashville to represent West Noble.

The state weekend for West Noble saw a host of students compete and come away with top-10 finishes.

Wu had a second event land in the top 10, making the awards stand for Financial Math and Analysis Open Event.

West Noble’s Video Production Team of Juliette Rodriguez, Ashley Zavala and Estefania Ruvalcaba placed eighth. The Economic Research Team of Mya Emmert, Macie Miller and Allison Bloss placed ninth. Individually, Jose Marin placed ninth in Interview Skills and Nefty Silva was also ninth in his Administrative Support Research Project.

Congratulations to all of the award winners from West Noble, and good luck to our national qualifiers as they look to prove themselves at the highest level!
