Parent Interest in Science & Health Curricular Materials Adoption

West Noble Parents,
During the 2022-2023 school year, West Noble School Corporation will adopt new curricular materials 
for science and health, K- 12.  Every six years, a curricular materials adoption committee, 
consisting of teachers and parents, examines Indiana Academic Standards, helps select curricular 
materials for adoption, and works with teachers to align instructional maps with state standards.
If you are interested in participating in the 2022-2023 Science and Health Curricular Materials 
Adoption Committee, please complete the Google Form, by September 23, 2022.  A list of responsibilities of parent committee members is listed below.

Parent Roles for Curricular Materials Adoption Committee (These duties may vary depending on 
building/grade-level needs)


●  Read and understand grade-level(s) Indiana Academic Science and Health Standards
●  Attend and participate in committee meetings, occurring during the school day
○  7:30-8:30 am for Middle School and High School committee meetings
○  2:30-3:30 pm for Primary and Elementary committee meetings
●  Review curricular materials provided by the Curricular Materials Committee
●  Sign-off on Committee’s recommendation to the West Noble School Board for adoption
