Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Community,

Welcome back!

We sincerely hope you all had a chance to enjoy summer and relax. Our goal at the high school has not changed: to make sure all students feel welcome and connected and to ensure they know they are an important part of our West Noble family.

We worked last year to assess our students’ needs, and we have some great programs in place for the new year. Our focus will be on interventions and increasing opportunities for students. We’ve hired two new teachers. Mrs. Christina Mast will be our new math teacher, and Mr. Nic Weimer will be our new English teacher. Both are West Noble alumni and are a great addition to our staff.

We’ve also made some changes to the office entrance that you may notice as you visit. Our custodians have been working very hard, and the building looks amazing!. Thank you to Jerry McLaughlin and the custodial staff for all their hard work. We can’t wait to meet our new freshmen and get their high school careers off to a great start. Go Chargers!

Athletes

All parents will need to register athletes online at Final Forms.  There will be no paper registrations for this school year. Every athlete grades 9-12 must use this to register for each sport they wish to participate.

By registering for a sport now, it does not mean you are on the team or that you have to play.  This just lets us know the potential of participation.Full instructions for registering athletes are available at westnoble.net under “Charger News.”

There will be a meeting for parents of fall athletes on August 1st at 5:00pm in the high school blue seats (cafetorium).

Important Dates

The cutoff for class schedule changes is Friday, August 5th. Remember, a form with a parent signature must be filled out before that date, and these forms are posted on the high school guidance website.

The high school will hold a freshman orientation August 11th from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. There will be a meeting for parents at 7:00 PM. Students and parents may feel free to come in before or after to find their classes, meet administrators and teachers, and participate in a drawing. Upperclassmen may feel free to come in and walk their schedules as well.  The first day of school is August 12th, and school hours will remain the same: 8:45 AM-3:20 PM.

Student drivers: If you recently got your driver’s license or changed cars, please make sure you purchase a parking permit or update your information. This can be done during freshman orientation or during lunch. The cost of a permit is $3.
